I am a Software Engineer with 5 years of commercial experience (and several additional years of non-commercial experience) in server- and client-side application design and implementation.
I am passionate about learning and achieved a First-class honours degree in BSc (Hons)
Computing and Information Systems at the University of West London.
On the commercial stage, I quickly progressed from Graduate Engineer to Mid-level Software Engineer within my first year.
I became accomplished at delivering project work independently while also performing effectively as part of a team.
Best described as the MacGyver of programming, I can solve problems and build quality software even with limited tools (skills or experience) at hand.
My strong research abilities, passion for learning, structured learning methodologies, and outside-the-box thinking allow me to deliver effective solutions.
I take pride in writing clean, maintainable code and producing end products that are both user-friendly and well-presented—paying attention to even the smallest details.
My main stacks are C#, JavaScript, and SQL.
Ot the back-end, most of my commercial experience has been with C# and .NET, specifically .NET Framework and Web Forms.
While I have less commercial experience with .NET Core and MVC, I have built solid self-taught knowledge in these areas.
I also have experience with PHP, which was once my preferred back-end language for hobby and university projects.
On the front-end, I work with JavaScript,
jQuery, HTML and CSS.
I also have a strong passion and skill for design, particularly using Photoshop, where I create my own copyright-free assets (such as buttons, window frames, edges, and animated GIFs) to ensure that my projects are visually appealing.
My experience with data and databases includes:
As a development environment for C# and Arduino projects, I primarily use Visual Studio 2022.
For other projects (e.g., Node.js, which I am currently learning), I work with Visual Studio Code.
